North West is an inland administrative division (province) of South Africa whose administrative centre is at the city of Mahikeng. North West shares borders with the country of Botswana to the north, as well as the South African provinces of Gauteng to the east, Free State to the southeast, Northern Cape to the southwest and Limpopo to the northeast. North West Province has many natural attractions including the Pilanesberg National Park and Madikwe Game Reserve. Among the resort towns in North West is Rustenburg, which is near Pilanesberg Game Reserve, with the “Big Five”, and surrounded by abundant vegetation. In the Rustenburg area you will also find the Sun City Resort, a remarkable destination in Africa, home to the superb 5-start hotel “The Palace of the Lost City”.
