Live from India's Chandrayaan-3 Moon Landing.
India has made history by successfully landing a spacecraft on the moon for the first time, joining an elite group that includes the United States, the former Soviet Union, and China. The momentous event took place on August 23rd, 2023, at 8:33 a.m. ET (12:33 GMT or 6:03 p.m. India Standard Time), as confirmed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), marking a significant milestone in space exploration.
This live video stream allows you to see the contrast between the bright and dark areas of the lunar surface, full of impact craters, hills and depressions, as well as the Earth rising above the horizon of the Moon. This was what Neil Armstrong saw when he stepped onto the Moon surface, in 1969, saying "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind".
