Can you imagine following the development of the Sagrada Familia’s construction? Now it is possible via livestream. Its full name is Expiatory Temple of the Holy Family (Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia or Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família), a true icon of modern architecture that started in 1882 in the Spanish city of Barcelona. Antoni Gaudí was the architect behind this Roman Catholic temple, which was meant to be a place of worship, but also of introspection for all. That’s why so many details, as the daylight contrasts inside, were considered. With about 70% of the work done, it is one of the most visited monuments in Spain. This project is to be completed on the centenary of Gaudí’s death, in 2026.
