This live HD webcam, as seen from the Lekeitioko Udala town hall, overlooks the charming marina port of Lekeitio, a town and municipality in the province of Biscay (Bizkaia), Basque Country, Spain.
In the foreground is a large town square called Independence Square (Plaza de la Independencia), which houses the Lekeitio Town Hall (Lekeitioko Udala) and the magnificent Lekeitio Basilica (Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción).
The picturesque island of San Nicolás stands out at the bay's mouth, accessible on foot during low tide when a path emerges, with a 200-metre trail leading to a viewpoint on the island. On the right side of the image, you can see Lekeitio's famous beaches, the Isunza, as well as the Carraspio beach in the nearby town of Mendexa.
