The community of Madrid (Comunidad de Madrid) is one of the autonomous communities of Spain, located in the centre of the Iberian Peninsula, bounded by the autonomous communities of Castilla-La Mancha (east and south), and Castile and León (north and west). The capital of this province, Madrid, which is also of Spain, is the residence of the Royal Family, featuring some of the most emblematic monuments of the country, well- preserved architecture, outstanding historic squares and landmarks, important museums and delightful parks.
