This live HD webcam stream looks out onto the square Stora torg, the main square in the city of Kristianstad, in southern Sweden.
In this live image, the Holy Trinity Church's Renaissance-style temple (Heliga Trefaldighets kyrka) stands out. It is one of the finest Renaissance temples in the Nordic countries, consecrated in 1628 and with a magnificent 59-metre tall tower added in 1865.
The Kristianstad Town Hall can be seen on the left side of the screen. To the right is the Great Crown House (Stora Kronohuset), completed in 1841 in Empire style for the Court of Appeal over Scania and Blekinge, as well as the Wende Artillery Regiment.
Kristianstad is primarily a Renaissance city, with well-preserved historical buildings dating back to the 17th century.
