The canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden (Kanton Appenzell Innerrhoden) is in the northeast part of Switzerland, being one of smallest cantons (administrative divisions) of the country. The capital of the canton is Appenzell, a charming town with tiny streets, colourful houses, and historic buildings.
