As you can see from the camera feed, this is an inclined railway station with a beautiful backdrop of mountain landscapes. This station is on the Vitznau-Rigi Railway, which runs from Vitznau, on the banks of Lake Lucerne, to Rigi Kulm, the stunning peak of Mount Rigi.
This gauge rack railway was the first mountain railway in Europe when it opened in 1871. It offers its passengers a very scenic journey through lakes, mountains, and forests and culminates at Rigi, the most visited mountain peak of the Swiss Alps.
