Pingtung County (屏東縣) is situated on the southern tip of Taiwan. The county has a wealth of excellent beaches, scenic landscapes and fertile fields. A few cities are vibrant with tourists such as Hengchun, and the city of Donggang is known for its seafood, as it has the major fishing area of Pingtung Harbour.
The county has the wonderful Kenting National Park offering mountain views, beaches, coral cliffs, waterfalls and a large lake. It is the main tourist destination in the county.
