The Griffith Tower Rail webcam is located atop the former Griffith Interlocking Tower/Griffith EJ&E control point, looking out onto the Canadian National Interlocking at Griffith town in the state of Indiana, United States.
Among the many trains that pass through this junction are those from the Canadian National South Bend Sub and the Canadian National Matteson Sub.
Griffin Interlocking was once the world's largest railroad junction, serving as an interchange for five railroads. The period of highest activity was in the 1970s, when about 180 trains would pass through the station. You may find this tourist attraction on the map further down the page.
This railcam is provided by the Griffith Historical Society, which preserves the town's railroad history through various means, including a railway museum.
