This high-definition live stream from Badger's Island, in the U.S. state of Maine displays World War I Memorial Bridge, across Piscataqua River, towards Portsmouth, in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. This structure carrying route 1 contains a vertical-lift bridge which opens completely, allowing large vessels to pass. Inaugurated in 2013, this bridge replaced an old one of the same style (1923 to 2012), and there you will find the inscription “Memorial to the Sailors and Soldiers of New Hampshire who gave their lives in the World War 1917–1919."
