Webcamtaxi takes you to the U.S. state of Missouri, situated in the Midwest of the country, bordering eight states. Missouri’s capital is Jefferson City, named after Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd President of the United States. The live streaming cams will allow you to discover more about this city, which was declared ‘America’s most beautiful small town’ by the American company Rand McNally. Kansas City, on the west side, on the Missouri River, is recognised for its contributions to the jazz and blues musical styles, and its rich art culture. In eastern Missouri, there is St. Louis metropolis, whose Gateway Arch, built in the 60s, honours the explorations of Lewis and Clark and represents America’s westward expansion. To the south, we highlight Springfield City, known for being ‘the birthplace of Route 66’, for its natural and recreational attractions, as well as the Missouri State University.

Two important geographic locations in the state are the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, a national park that contains the country’s largest concentration of first class springs, and the incredible Mark Twain National Forest, named after the Missouri native author.
