This live webcam stream looks north out onto the beautiful Van Vleet Oval, also known as the South Oval Norman Campus at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.
Through this camera feed, you can see the large green space and its flower gardens, as well as the entrance to campus, where the historical landmark OU Seed Sower Statue is located, which you can explore on the map further down this page.
This statue is the University of Oklahoma's seal, and represents the president of the University, who planted the first trees in the institution. At the same time, the OU Seed Sower Statue emphasises the importance of sowing the seeds of learning for the future.
South Oval Norman Campus is a popular relaxing outdoor area for students as well as the location of major university events.
The University of Oklahoma (OU) is a notable doctoral degree-granting research institution established in 1890.
Aside from being an excellent university with distinctive architecture seen in historic buildings and advanced student facilities, it also has two remarkable museums that you can visit, namely the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art and the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History.
