This high-definition webcam takes you to the town centre of Christiansted, on the northern coast of St. Croix, one of the U.S. Virgin Islands. This live image is from King Christian Hotel, at end of King Street, around here, is the Christiansted National Historic Site, referring to the Danish West Indies, a Danish colony on St. Croix Island. The site is composed of six historic buildings –the former Danish West India and Guinea Company Warehouse (built in 1749) is displayed in front, and behind it you see the spire of the Church of Our Lord Sabaoth Steeple Building (1753), and on the left-hand, a part of the Customs House (1840’s) is seen. The other historic buildings are nearby including the Fort Christiansværn. To explore Christiansted, please find our street view map by scrolling down the page.
