This live webcam shows a scenic view over Coral Bay and the Island Horizons in the stunning east part of Saint John Island, US Virgin Islands.
The online camera is located at the villa Island Horizons, on a hill in the town of Coral Bay, as shown on the map further down this page. Island Horizons offers an excellent overview of Coral Harbor, with its small boats and the green Fortsberg Peninsula in front.
Beyond the Fortsberg Peninsula lies Hurricane Hole, a collection of small bays and creeks on Saint John's East End. Hurricane Hole, as seen here, is surrounded by mangrove forest shores and is one of the best places on the island for snorkelling or a scenic trip by boat, kayak, or paddleboard.
Saint John Island is well-known for its beautiful sand beaches and tropical forests. In fact, the Virgin Islands National Park encompasses more than half of the island, protecting marine habitats and marine life as well as an important portion of the surviving native rain forest in the Caribbean.
